Rules and Regulations
Please be safety conscious. Parents are required to supervise children. Look around you and stay out of the way of the horses. Keep your distractions to a minimum. Horses are strong and unpredictable animals and you must always be alert when working around them.
1. Barn Hours are 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Please notify Suzy if you must be here outside normal business hours.
2. Be safety conscience around all horses. Keep your distractions to a minimal.
3. Driveway Speed Limit is 10 MPH. Do not park in front of the barn aisle way.
4. No dogs are permitted on the property.
5. Please clean up after your horse in the aisle, ring, and parking area.
6. Do not handle, feed or ride another person’s horse without the owner’s explicit permission. Treats should not be given to other people’s horses without permission. No indiscriminately feeding of hay or grain to any horses.
7. You are responsible for children and visitors that you bring to the farm. The supervision of all children is required by each parent.
8. No mounting or riding in the barn aisle.
9. No smoking in the barn or anywhere on the property, no exceptions!
10. Anyone appearing to be impaired by alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the property.
11. Riding helmets & proper footwear (sturdy shoes) are required for all riders.
12. Horses must be under the handler’s control at all times.
13. Horses should not be left unsupervised anywhere, especially in the crossties.
14. Please do not sit on any of the fences or gates. Some are electrified!
15. Turn out lights that are not in use.
16. Keep all gates latched.
17. The Equine Activity Liability Act is in effect and states, “You assume the risk of equine activities pursuant to Pennsylvania law”. There are 3 posted signs in the barn.
18. Ask if you have questions or concerns about your horse, the facility, the care, etc.
